About me

I am an associate professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My PhD advisors were Fernando Galaz-García and Oscar Palmas-Velasco

My mathematical interests

I am primarily interested in the relation between curvature and shape (that is, topology and geometry) both in the smooth context (Riemannian geometry) and non-smooth context (Alexandrov and RCD spaces)

My area of expertise

Metric Geometry with emphasis in Alexandrov Geometry from the point of view of the transformation groups theory and collapsing theory

Previous positions

I was a postdoc at
  • UCSB with Guofang Wei,
  • SISSA with Nicola Gigli,
  • CCM-UNAM with Daniel Juan and Noé Bárcenas
